In the meantime…here’s a Quick Tip!

This one is simple but suuuuuper effective…

Lots of flux!

For your regular solder lines, too much flux = spatter.

But for edge beading, lots flux = smoother beads.

Why? Cuz gravity.

When you’re soldering lines, your piece is flat on your mat. But edge beading? Whether you’re using liquid, gel, or paste flux, your flux has a tendency to head downhill as soon as it heats up. And since your piece is perpendicular to your mat…down and away from your foil it goes.
